Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I always adore an excuse to celebrate love! What a gift it is to celebrate love with family, your best friends, and/or your significant other on Valentine’s Day – and really every day. Whether you have romantic love to celebrate this holiday or not (believe me; I didn’t til I was 30!!), there are so many sweet and simple ways to celebrate the wonderful people in your life whom you love. Sending snail mail Valentine’s to kiddos in your life, calling your grandparents to tell them you love them, sending flowers to your mom, scheduling an extra FaceTime or two, leaving baked goods on the doorsteps of your girlfriends, checking in on new moms and asking how you can help, planning a surprise of some sort for your spouse, treating yourself to a luxurious night in… truly, there are countless ways to make this day about loving others well.

Our Valentine’s Days aren’t really about getting each other material gifts or going out for a fancy dinner, though we usually do try to plan a little trip for Valentine’s weekend, since we both adore traveling and experiential gifts together. We also typically do a date night at home, which we’ll definitely be doing again this year! We plan and cook a delicious dinner together, whip up an indulgent dessert, open a bottle of wine from a favorite winery, set the table extra fancy, light candles, and dress up (me in something blush and romantic with my bow earrings and pink lipstick!). It’s one of our favorite little traditions and a very special way to celebrate this day dedicated to love. We exchange cards, too, especially since I love writing AND receiving cards so much, and Rob typically surprises me with flowers (usually tulips!).

I rounded up a few beautiful home finds for your Valentine’s Day decor, in case you want to go a little above and beyond to decorate your home for the holiday! I love adding in a few extra touches of blush decor, along with setting our Valentines dinner table with blush, white, and red accents. For tablescapes and place settings, vintage blush glassware (aren’t the coupes above so beautiful and delicate?!), seasonal napkins (like those heart napkins), a subtle heart tablecloth or a sweet floral tablecloth, blush rattan wrapped glassware, and pink serving trays are all beautiful additions! Subtle pops of pink and Valentines touches around the house, like the pink scalloped pillow, blush vases, heart picture frame, the heart garland, and that gorgeous pom wreath, would be really sweet and thoughtful touches to incorporate to celebrate the holiday. I also included some of my very favorite small businesses in this roundup, both owned by friends of mine: The Pom Collective and Simply Jessica Marie. I love supporting such exceptional and creative small businesses whenever I can, for sure!

I hope your Valentine’s Day (and week!) are filled with a whole lot of love and some really sweet memories. We mailed our Valentines to our families this week (and continued this beloved, longtime family tradition again this year!), and I can’t wait for them to receive a little extra love in the mail.
