Rob and I recently had a photo session with the incomparable Ally and Bobby, our dear friends and insanely talented photographers who also photographed our wedding and our engagement session! I am a firm believer that investing in family photos is priceless, and we realized that we hadn’t taken any pictures of us since our wedding almost two years ago. I love the idea of having couple/family photos taken of us every year, so we called upon Ally and Bobby to celebrate 1.5+ years of marriage, our new house… and a couple updated headshots of our businesses, too! Anyway, it was such a special afternoon celebrating the goodness of our marriage, our home, and all of the joy that the last few years has brought. I mean… is there anything more fun than getting to kiss, snuggle, and laugh with your best friend/spouse for an hour?!

A million thanks to the insanely talented Ally and Bobby for always making us feel comfortable, for making any photo session loads of fun, and for capturing our love and joy so effortlessly. My wonderful friend Sam Ray from Lula Hair + Makeup also went out of her way to make me feel so beautiful by glamming me up with my hair and makeup. She is simply the best, and I am so thankful to her, too!

We did our session in our home and in our backyard (we live on the most beautiful little lake!), which makes this session even more special and sweet to us!!
