Rob and I were both completely set on not having a first look of our own, but I always knew I most definitely wanted to have a first look with my dad. Just thinking about those sweet, private moments makes me tear up all over again! My first look with my daddy was so, so special, and I cherish those memories with him so much. It was surreal descending the grand staircase of the Merrimon Wynne towards my daddy waiting at the bottom for me. He is the very best dad in the world, and this was an incredibly special moment with him. My dad has loved, supported, helped, and encouraged me every moment of my life, and he is truly the best of the best. Cue all the happy tears (again!). I love his genuine excitement and happiness when he saw me in my wedding dress for the first time… knowing his little girl was mere moments away from getting married to the love of her life! And the image of me wiping away his tears (or as he calls it, “allergies” – ha!) makes me cry all over again. These images are unbelievably priceless, as was every moment of the whole day!! Love you, daddy!
