Hi y’all! My name is Jacey Monahan, and I am thrilled to be interning with Stephanie Shaul Events! I have only known Stephanie for a short period of time, but I already love her and her intense passion and faith in serving others. I am so excited to see what our time together will bring! I want to begin by giving y’all a little insight into who I am, so let’s get started!
I am from the small town of Kittrell, North Carolina, and I loved everything about growing up in a tiny, rural town. My parents created the perfect little fairytale world for me and my brother to grow up in. Upon meeting me, one thing you will quickly learn is my passion for sunsets and their all-encompassing views. My hometown provided some of the most incredible sunset views I have ever seen, sparking my love for them. Perhaps, you could even call me a “sunset-chaser.” I am inspired and in awe of nature and its gift of a sunset to us every single day. In reading Stephanie’s website for the first time, I saw where she too draws inspiration from sunsets, and I knew immediately that I had to reach out to her. Best decision ever!
I now live in Raleigh, NC where I attend North Carolina State University. I am a Junior majoring in Fashion and Textiles Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing and pursuing a minor in Leadership. I have been a Wolfpack fan since I can remember and attending this school has been a dream. As much as I loved my small town, Raleigh has truly become my home away from home. This city and everything it has to offer is incredible.
I am so excited to begin working with Stephanie and soaking up all the knowledge and advice she has to offer. I love giving myself, my ideas, and my service to others, so wedding planning seems like a perfect fit for me. As cliché as it sounds, I love “love” and getting to be a part of someone’s special day brings me so much joy. I know that wedding planning and designing can be incredibly rewarding, yet at the same time extremely challenging, but I am eager to see all sides of this industry. My first wedding I will be helping Stephanie with will be on March 10th, and I cannot wait to see all of her hard work come to fruition.
In addition to helping Stephanie with weddings, I will be regularly posting on the blog, so stay tuned for what’s to come!
