I moved to Raleigh two years ago!! And what a wild and wonderful two years it’s been! Though I’d been planning weddings on the side for 1.5 years prior, I took my business (then #stephanieschollevents + now #stephanieshaulevents) full-time with my move and haven’t looked back since! I’ve planned and designed dozens of styled and editorial shoots, had every one published in blogs and magazines I’ve admired for years, added styling, mentoring, and coaching to my business, worked with dozens of incredible brides and grooms on their weddings (I have the best clients in the world!), brought several wonderful interns on board, have spoken at a few conferences and workshops, worked alongside incredibly talented vendors, became friends with and formed a community of inspiring creatives, and so very much more! As long as I can bring more beauty, joy, and love to the world, I know I’m doing my job right.
Oh, and I met, fell in love with, got engaged, and got married to the most amazing man in the world!! That is, hands down, the very best part 🙂 Rob, I love you with my whole heart! Planning and designing our own wedding was a dream, too.
It’s been a full two years, and I have endless things I’m deeply thankful for. Raleigh, I sure do love you, and it feels so good to know I’m doing the work the Lord has called me to do in the city that He’s purposefully placed me. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it!!
