These are the books that have been on my nightstand this month, and I had to share, just in case you’re in the market for a new read.
I just finished Love, Skip, Jump by Shelene Bryan – and I LOVED it. I’d highly recommend this easy read to anyone who wants an inspiring, faith-filled, kick in your pants read. I loved Shelene’s writing style, stories, call to action (actually loving, skipping, and jumping to serve Christ and others in His name).
“The more I see God at work, the more I understand that saying yes to God makes ripples. I know I don’t have the power to save the world; that’s God’s job. But I can leave each place I visit a little better than it was when I arrived.” – Love, Skip, Jump
I also just read The Signature of All Things, by Elizabeth Gilbert, for the second time! Elizabeth Gilbert is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I first read this book when it came out. It’s SO good that I recently just added it onto my ABSOLUTE favorite books of all time list. It’s in good company there, and it definitely deserves a spot. Please, please go read it – I promise you’ll be enraptured by this epic novel. And I always learn so much reading this amazing book!
The other two books, The Best Yes by Lysa Terkeurst and The Business Romantic by Tim Leberecht, are next up! I can’t wait to tackle these two, which were such thoughtful birthday gifts. I’ll be sure to report back.
FYI, since I absolutely love to read & adore recommeding books to others, I created a hashtag on Instagram – #stephaniereads – which you can scroll through to see all of the books I’ve been reading & loving!
What should I add to my queue at the library next?!
