I go back and forth year in and year out trying to decide if I should ‘keep up with the times’ and stick to an electronic calendar… or if I should give in to the pretty paper and the writing in ink on a paper calendar. A couple years ago, I used a bright & happy pink Lilly Pulitzer agenda/planner, and then I went completely electronic for the last three years. But I have such a love of pretty paper & handwritten notes! So this month, I took the plunge back into a paper agenda, and I am SO excited. That’s more than you ever wanted to know about the fact that I finally, happily switched back to an actual agenda, but it makes me oh so happy! I know exactly what I need & exactly what to look for in an agenda (I’m very particular), and after comparing a few brands and styles online, I headed to my favorite PaperSource store to compare a few in person. I knew I’d be going with either a Kate Spade agenda or a Lilly Pulitzer agenda, and seeing the two side by side sealed the deal for me! As much as I love neutrals and classic, simple styles, I love color + bright, inspiring design just that much more. And since I loved my Lilly planner so much a few years ago, it wasn’t too hard to select this one! I love the bright colors, designs, and patterns, the layout/format is ideal, the price was great, and the happy stickers are a fabulous bonus. And my hot pink Le Pen is just icing on the cake!
Like I said, this is more than you probably ever wished to hear about my choosing a new agenda, but I am so excited to make the switch back to having an actual paper agenda – I had really been missing it throughout the last several years! It makes me ridiculously giddy.

I ordered this very same planner last week and should be receiving my package tomorrow. So excited! I, too, like paper planners and feel it motivates me to stay organized. Its my first time using Lily, so we’ll see how it goes.

PAPER PLANNER all the way! For life!!! I loved my Lilly planner when I had one a year or two ago, but I’ve lovedddd my Vera Bradley planner that I’m using this year maybe even a little bit more! I can’t decide what to buy for my next one – Lilly, Kate, Vera, or maybe even an Erin Condren planner (WITH MY NEW NAME?!?!??) AH so many choices! What do you look for when you buy a planner? And TELL ME MORE about that pen!!!! I’m always looking for a good pen. SEE – you didn’t tell more than I wanted to know about planners because I’ve alreay written a book in response and want to know even more than what you posted! 😉 Clearly I love planners. 🙂 🙂
Haha! I love that someone else loves planners just as much as I do!! It’s a Le Pen pen, and I love it – must try. We can discuss pros and cons of all the planners this weekend!
