Books of 2013

As I mentioned here, my goal is to read 52 (or more) books throughout the year – and I managed to read 72 books in 2013! Thanks to being in two book clubs, a long commute on the metro, and simply a love of reading, I was happy to exceed my goal. Next year, I’d like to read even more non-fiction books, along with some of those great classics. My queue at the library is already stocked with great new books I can’t wait to read!

Top 5 Books of 2013:

The Fault in Our Stars [John Green]

Inferno [Dan Brown]

The Book Thief [Marcus Zusak]

  1. Just found your blog and love it. I moved to northern Virginia in July and am originally from the UK. I’ve read a lot of the books on your list. My first book for 2014 is And The Mountains Echoed… Got it lined up on the Kindle ready to go!
