Angela and Jason’s special day at The Parlour at Manns Chapel was nothing short of amazing! The day was intimate and family-oriented, and the love these two have for each other radiated through the chapel. The day was filled with stunning floral arrangements, family photos, and in true Southern fashion, barbecue! Angela’s classic Southern style was showcased through their gorgeous vintage china and blulsh and blue glassware from Southern Vintage Table, her lush blush pink and white florals impeccably done by Serendipity Designs, and the use of greenery throughout the venue and outside in the courtyard. I loved being able to plan, design, and style this wedding from start to finish, to get to know this incredible couple and their families, and to bring their dream wedding day to life in a very community-focused way. It was a sweet Southern dream!

The farmhouse tables at The Parlour made for the perfect setting for their Southern family style dinner. The rustic charm and romantic Southern accents were the perfect pair. Surrounded by family, friends, and their three children, Angela and Jason celebrated their love with great food and great company. Their ceremony was set inside the beautifully restored chapel (which Jason had visited as a child!), and we transitioned to the courtyard for cocktail hour. There, we had the Cottage Luxe Hemingway Bar, serving delicious signature cocktails in vintage blush and blue glassware. Angela and Jason enjoyed their first dance outside before we moved back into the chapel for dinner and dancing.

It was such a pleasure working with this phenomenal and sweet couple; they are truly amazing! When I first met with Angela and Jason many months ago, I asked Jason what he wanted to prioritize during their wedding. His answer made me tear up: “I just want to make sure I never see a sad look on Angela’s face.” Melting! The way these two love each other is so evident, and their love story is simply beautiful and inspiring. I have longed to plan a wedding where its focus was on marriage, the beautiful details were meticulously chosen and meaningful, and it was an intimate, family and community-focused day, and this wedding was all that and more. The whole wedding day was flawless thanks to our amazing vendor team. I am wishing these two the happiest of marriages and all the love, laughter, and joy in the world!
