This blonde beauty pictured with me has been such a gift & blessing to me and to Stephanie Scholl Events over the past several months, and I am beyond thrilled to formally introduce you to Janna Brown, the Stephanie Scholl Events intern!
I love serendipitous meetings that lead to big things, and how we met & connected was such a God thing! Janna was perusing The Everygirl and stumbled across my home tour since she saw that there was a Raleigh, NC home featured. She clicked on it, read the interview, and took a huge leap of faith and decided to email me. We met for coffee at our beloved Jubala, instantly connected, and talked nonstop for a couple hours. She was interested in learning more about event and wedding planning, as well! I had been wanting to bring an intern on board over the summer but was a little unsure how to go about it and wasn’t exactly sure how I envisioned an intern’s role in my business. But through a couple of email exchanges a month later, and some super-excited replies on both sides, Janna became my (amazing!) intern!
A couple things I adore about Janna (there are countless things!)…
I was emailing Janna about my bride Kate’s wedding, which would be the first one Janna worked with me on. I loved that Janna’s response to one of my emails was “I am counting down the days til July 16th! 53 days in case you were wondering!!” (Such enthusiasm and excitement!)
And after Kate’s wedding, this was in an email I received from Janna:
“I hope you could tell just how much fun I had on both Friday and Saturday. I was hoping an actual wedding would give me more clarity about whether or not wedding planning is what I want to do and I’m SO in. It was not only fun, but something I believe I can do really well. Again, thank YOU for giving me the opportunity to help with the wedding and learn from the absolute best. I can’t wait to do more together, too!!”
Now, onto a fun interview that Janna answered. I hope you’ll get to know her better and welcome her to Stephanie Scholl Events!
