I am SO enamored with this entire shoot. This couple (a real life couple, of course!) is incredibly in love, and they sure showed it throughout this marvelous day! The inspiration behind this editorial shoot stems from a classic, intimate love story about a love that transcends. The bride and groom yearn for a marriage more beautiful than their wedding, and their love story is reflected throughout all of the meaningful details shared here.

Organic and natural elements, the elegant romantic setting, the beautifully restored chapel, and the wild, vibrant colors of the florals all meld together to reflect their unique & meaningful love story.

The bride’s vintage, heirloom engagement ring reflects her heart for legacy, family, and a belief in timeless, elegant love. She is a believer in romance and that their love will last throughout the ages. The threadbare journal is a collection of love letters written by and passed back & forth between the bride and groom as they prepare for the wedding, and it encompasses the span of their love story from the beginning. Reading aloud from their journal at the wedding shows just how far their love has come and propels them into their future together.

The calligraphy backdrop at their ceremony is swept with words from their favorite poem by e.e. cummings, further showing their admiration of classic, meaningful love stories. Jessica from Simply Jessica Marie is always a joy to work with, and her effortless, romantic brush calligraphy took this vision to a whole new level! I love that the poem “I Carry Your Heart” is the focal point of the wedding ceremony, and it’s a poem I hold close to my heart – I even read it in my sister’s wedding!!

Nikelle from Wylde Flowers is a floral genius and this gorgeous bout has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. The color palette and textures are so so dreamy! The colors are carried throughout the shoot to a breathtaking table design and cake display. The greenery garland, the flowing cheesecloth, the vibrant florals, and the astonishingly in love couple! Nothing could make this more perfect.
