I am so, so very ecstatic to share with you my home tour and story, featured on The Everygirl!!! What?!? The Everygirl has been one of my favorite go-to websites for years and years, and it’s a complete joy and honor to be featured there. I think I’m still in shock, and it’s so fun to be able to share a peak into my home (along with an interview about me!). Rachel Linder from Blue Barn Photography, one of my dearest friends here in Raleigh, took all of these gorgeous photos, and I am so very thankful to Rachel for shooting my home and The Everygirl for sharing it!
Here’s a snippet from The Everygirl interview:
“Stephanie Scholl’s passion for life is infectious. As the owner of her own wedding and event planning business, she brings that same joie de vivre to her beautifully designed events, which reflect her bright, fun personality. After spending several years working in the non-profit world post-college, Stephanie finally turned her love for weddings into a full-time job with the help and encouragement of her family and friends. Recently, she packed her bags and moved from Washington, D.C. to Raleigh, North Carolina to set up shop and make her event planning dream job a reality. Although she’s only been in Raleigh for six months, she’s already made her mark on the bridal scene.
When Stephanie isn’t planning a couple’s dream wedding, she loves spending time decorating her bright two-bedroom apartment. By layering pops of color over a neutral pallet of whites and greys, Stephanie’s home is a true reflection of her personality and aesthetic, which can also be seen throughout her events. Read on to find out more about Stephanie’s transition from non-profit work to full-time business owner, why she loves being a hostess, and how she discovered her passion for weddings!”
And for the full story (warning: it’s the longest interview ever!!), go check out The Everygirl. I’m pretty sure it’s going to become one of your favorite websites and resources, too!
I absolutely love my home, but more than anything, I hope it’s a place where people feel welcomed, loved, and happy. Shauna Niequist said it so well: “What people are craving isn’t perfection. People aren’t longing to be impressed; they’re longing to feel like they’re home. If you create a space full of love and character and creativity and soul, they’ll take off their shoes and curl up with gratitude and rest.”
Pinch me!! Thank you so very much to you for reading along, to The Everygirl for sharing my home tour and interview, and to Rachel from Blue Barn for shooting such gorgeous photos of my home (twice!).
