I’m working with one of my wonderful Stephanie Scholl Events brides on finalizing her color palette and design inspiration, and this is the inspiration board we’ve been drawing from. One of the color palettes she is considering is misty blue/pale dusty aqua, navy, tomato red and coral, and white. I pulled together these pictures to help give her a cohesive look and so that she could visualize all of those colors together. We’re leaning towards bridesmaid dresses in a beautiful shade of misty blue, complemented with navy suits on the gentlemen. I love the look of blues together (and navy is my favorite ‘neutral’!). Pops of tomato red and coral in the bouquets, accenting the all-white cake, and on the ties or pocket squares for the men would pull together all of these colors. I love creating and designing the details that cohesively bring together a vision without being too matchy-matchy or obvious. This palette is fresh and clean, while still being elegant and classic for a wedding.
What do you think? I’m a little enamored with the bow ties in this picture; it pulls the colors together so perfectly!
