I’m SO excited to be attending this! Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events, is hosting a Styling Workshop in April in the beautiful mountains of Virginia. I decided to implement a birthday gift to myself each year – not something material or just something that I want, but some way to invest in myself, in my business, or in my passions. Last year, I attended the amazing Blue Eye Brown Eye calligraphy workshop, hosted by Southern Weddings in Chapel Hill, for my birthday. I’d say that was a pretty beneficial and life-changing experience for me! And this year, I’m investing in myself and my creative side by signing up for this styling workshop!

I seriously cannot wait, and it seems like such a serendipitous, perfect fit for what I’m looking for right now. I love that this workshop is an intimate size, is only about two hours away from me, is actually affordable/in my budget, and is on the weekend! Hooray! For someone who can’t easily (at all) take time off during the work week, this timing is such a blessing. I can’t wait to dive in, learn so much, and feel even more motivated, confident, and empowered. All of the in-person and hands-on learning and styling will be so helpful and wonderful. I’m especially excited to actually meet Kat in person, as well as meeting all of the other ladies attending and building community & relationships. I have a feeling it’s going to be one incredibly exciting day, and I can’t wait to report back!
