Is anyone else thrilled that Downton Abbey is finally back on TV (at least in the US)?! I sure am! I’m really not too much of  a TV watcher (I haven’t had cable or Netflix or anything in over four years), and besides The Bachelor (guilty) and the Amazing Race, I really don’t spend time watching any other shows. However, a year ago, I discovered the marvelous show that is Downton Abbey. To say I am hooked is an understatement! Goodness gracious, it is such a good show. I caught up a year ago by watching Seasons 1 and 2 in about five days; I just couldn’t stop watching. Through the laughter, suspense, intrigue, romance, tears, drama, and every other emotion, I became a little addicted. There are so many great characters and plot lines, and there’s never a dull moment. I’ve long loved history and the British monarchy, so this is right up my alley. I’m so excited to watch Season 4 unveil this winter (no spoilers, please!)!

What do you think about the hype surrounding Downton Abbey? Do you currently already watch it, or are you planning on trying to get swept into the drama this season? I love that so many of my friends, but also my parents and grandparents, love it! Now I’m trying to convert Bridgette!

  1. I look forward to DA each week when it is in season! I have yet to watch Season 1. – also no netflix or cable, so I need to go view it at a friend’s, but not the time available! Enjoy! and Stay warm! (-9 deg F upon waking, here).

    1. You can watch Downton through Amazon Prime, if you happen to have that?! I love when I’m able to catch it airing on PBS… or even on pbs.org. Such a good show!!
