Just in the last two weeks, Fall has exploded all over Washington DC and Northern Virginia… and it is breathtaking! The trees are so full of color, leaves are crunching underfoot, and the sunsets have been unbelievable.
My weekends have been jam-packed with lots of Fall & festive happenings, and here’s a peek into what I was up to:
Paradise Springs Winery
Live bluegrass bands, great local wine, a huge spread of amazing food, and some great girlfriends = perfect Friday evening
Prince Michel Winery
Bridgette and I met halfway (love that we can do this!) that Saturday afternoon for some sister-time and wine… what more could you want?! We went to Prince Michel Winery, which I drive by every time I visit her. Our afternoon was filled with tons of laughter, endless talking, and our fair share of Cabernet Sauvignon. We even had some fun running around the vineyards after all that! I’m blessed with the best sister & friend imaginable, and she cracks. me. up.
Harry Potter Halloween Party
Some friends hosted a Harry Potter Halloween party, which was so fun! I’ve always been a huge Harry Potter fan (nerd alert!), so it was fun to see all of their fabulous decorations, eat themed food and butterbeer, and play the Harry Potter trivia and games.
Ellicott City
Before Allie moves back to NC, she, Lindsey, and I wanted to spend a day together in Ellicott City, Maryland. These two friends are so dear to me, and we have the best time on adventures together! We started our daytrip to Ellicott City with a fancy tea in our own private library-themed tea room. We walked around the quaint town, checked out the B&O Railroad (like from Monopoly!), did some serious shopping in adorable boutiques and stores, hit up a wine bar for an afternoon refreshment, and then stopped by a local brewery. As always, I have the best time with these friends, and it was fun to explore a town none of us had ever been to!
Have you been up to any fun Fall happenings lately?! I think I’ve crossed everything off of my Fall to-do list now!
