Two weeks later, and I still have the happiest & most full heart after the wedding celebrations for Katy & Dan! It was simply the best getting to know these two newlyweds and to bring their wedding day to life! Katy, Dan, their families, and their wedding party are as beautiful and radiant inside as they are outside; don’t you think?! I can’t say enough good things about the new Mr. and Mrs. Pugh and who they are, and it was a dream come true to get to know, love, and serve them during their engagement and on their wedding weekend. Katy & Dan’s wedding day was filled not only with beautiful details but with beautiful, heartfelt, joyous, and laughter-filled moments from beginning to end. They are surrounded by the most loving, fun, servant-hearted, marvelous friends and family, and seeing these magical, once-in-a-lifetime & highly anticipated moments unfold sure is something special. What a dream, truly!

This was quite possibly one of my favorite wedding designs – and weddings! – of all time, which is saying something! There’s nothing like the magic of a clear top tent gracing such a pristine setting — and the unbelievably gorgeous flowers & centerpieces, the linens, the chandeliers, the lounges, the details, the table settings, the dance floor & stage… I’m so in love with it all and absolutely love seeing all of this hard work and planning come to fruition. It was exquisite, unique, intentional, and oh so meaningful, all in one, and I’m so unbelievably proud of this wedding and getting to plan & design it for such a marvelous couple.

Katy & Dan’s wedding was magical & intentional, garden party & elevated, inviting & refined, fresh & memorable, and filled with the most heartfelt, beautiful, meaningful details and design. Their faith, their love, and their joy shone through at every turn, which is really what it’s all about! This couple, their families & friends, the weather, the design & details & seamless day, the dream vendor team, and every bit of it was unbelievably wonderful. I’ll never be over it or this dreamy tent we built from the ground up over the course of many months of planning and several days onsite leading up to their wedding. And I’m so grateful for the wildly amazing creative partners who I had the honor of working alongside to bring this to life for Katy & Dan, who bring so much joy into the lives of everyone who knows & loves them!

Katy’s family has been members at Treyburn Country Club her whole life, and it was only fitting that Katy & Dan were married somewhere so special and significant. The club had never done a wedding of this size or scale before (or even done a tent on the lawn!), but the second we arrived at Treyburn to scout it out days after their engagement, I knew it was perfect for them the second I turned the corner and saw the expansive, pristine lawn out back that was bordered in hedges. Curated Events helped bring this vision to life flawlessly with a grand clear top tent on the lawn, abundant market lights and crystal chandeliers overhead, the most romantic draping & white dance floor, a stage for their wildly fun band, and beautiful linens & details abounding. We spent days leading up to the wedding perfecting every detail, ensuring the layout was perfectly symmetrical, and setting up and installing every last detail. Katy & Dan’s wedding was so exquisite, unique, intentional, and oh so meaningful, all in one, and it was truly a dream in every way for the most deserving and wonderful couple.

During our initial site visit, we also scouted out possible ceremony locations for 250 people, and while doing so, ran into a family friend of theirs (and wedding guest!). He instantly brought us over to the driving range on the golf course, mapped out the sun’s location, brought the golf course manager over, and within minutes, we had Treyburn’s first ever driving range ceremony confirmed. The club also kept the driving range grass pristine the entire Spring (having golfers use the bottom tier) & also kept the driving range closed on a peak Saturday for the wedding, which was above and beyond. And magical, it was! Katy also always envisioned getting married beneath a grand, lush floral arch, and Hathaway Floral Design – as always – made it happen so, so beautifully. With a view of the golf course & trees & magnificent lawn plus this perfect floral arch, Katy & Dan’s ceremony was not only stunning and unique but oh so meaningful, personalized, and heartfelt.
