Rob and I recently had a 5th anniversary photo session with the wonderful Danielle James, and I am so, so excited to share some of the film images from our time with her! Danielle is a really good friend of mine, and we get to enjoy lots of girls nights and book club discussions together. We were incredibly touched when she reached out to us about doing a fifth anniversary session with her, and we couldn’t love these beautiful, beautiful photos more! I seriously can’t stop looking at them and swooning over them. We were able to take all of these photos at our wedding venue, The Merrimon Wynne House, and it’s always wildly sweet and special to be back at the location where we became husband and wife and celebrated our marriage and wedding with all of our family and friends! Of course, I’m back at the Merrimon Wynne all the time for client weddings, and it’s extra sentimental and meaningful to be there with Rob. We also got to spend our 4th anniversary celebrating at the Merrimon Wynne, and yet again, they surprised us with some bubbly to celebrate our anniversary and commemorate the occasion!
It was such a special afternoon celebrating the goodness of our marriage, our anniversary, and all of the joy that the last few years has brought. I mean… is there anything more fun than getting to kiss, snuggle, and laugh with your best friend/spouse for an hour?!
A million thanks to the insanely talented Danielle for always making us feel comfortable, for making any photo session loads of fun, and for capturing our love and joy so effortlessly. We are deeply grateful for you and your talents, friend!
āWithin this Christian vision of marriage, here’s what it means to fall in love. It is to look at another person and get a glimpse of what God is creating, and to say, “I see who God is making you, and it excites me! I want to be part of that. I want to partner with you and God in the journey you are taking to his throne. And when we get there, I will look at your magnificence and say, ‘I always knew you could be like this. I got glimpses of it on earth, but now look at you!ā – Tim Keller
Love you forever and ever, Rob.
