Recipe: Whipped Feta with Honey

Give me feta anything, and I’m a very happy girl! Over the last many years, I’ve perfected lemon feta dip & jalapeno feta dip & feta toast with basil & honey, and last summer I discovered the utterly delicious whipped feta dip with honey. I’ve been hooked ever since and have made this super simple – and highly addictive! – feta dip for many girl’s nights, articles clubs, double dates, and picnics. It’s become such a beloved favorite of ours – and of anyone who has tried it, too! I also love a recipe that looks fancy but takes five minutes to whip (ha!) together, like this one. It’s easy to make ahead of time, all of the ingredients are refrigerator staples (at least in our home), and it always wows our friends and family and is devoured within minutes. Serve it with warm pita or naan, crunchy pita chips, or a variety of fresh vegetables for a healthier option. Feta always brings me back to my study abroad days in Greece and the memories of such a special chapter in my life, and I adore using feta anywhere and everywhere that I can!

Combine 8 oz feta cheese, 8 oz cream cheese, & 2 Tbsp olive oil in a food processor til well combined & smooth. Add in a dash of garlic powder & a dash of dried basil, then combine again. Scoop whipped feta out & spoon onto a plate or shallow bowl, leaving a well in the center. Fill well with honey then garnish with crushed pistachios, chopped chives, and cracked black pepper. Serve with warm pita, pita chips, and/or fresh veggies.
