The Merrimon Wynne House 2022 winter showcase is this Sunday, January 30th from 2:00 – 5:00pm, and I am so, so excited for this magical day to unfold! You can read all about the event here (and purchase tickets here – there’s just a few remaining!).

I’m so excited to share what I’ve dreamt up and designed for the carriage house at the Merrimon Wynne: an elegant & gilded art deco design brought to life through sophisticated, lush floral installations, the most incredible menu and unique stations, live bride and groom models in gorgeous gowns, lounges galore, a stunning showstopper of a cake, a champagne tower, bespoke signage and a custom-made art deco pattern incorporated in many memorable locations, two inspired styled tabletop designs, nods to interior design with statement lamps and vignettes, fun touches and surprises for all of the guests, and so much more with a true dream team of vendor friends. With gilded accents, a luxurious and refined palette, velvet touches, romantic draping and focal floral installations, a square bar and two inspired lounges, this design is elegant art deco with a modern twist – a little moody, sophisticated, layered, and romantic!

I’ve been busy this month designing and creating a gorgeous, unique, and fun design to bring to life alongside some truly spectacular local vendors — and let me just say, I couldn’t be more excited about this bespoke design I’ve dreamt up and the incredible talent I get to work alongside! I haven’t been this fired up about a custom design in a while, and it’s going to be phenomenal and so inspiring. There are three incredible vendors from each category (wedding planner and designer, caterer, florist, bakery, stationer, rentals, etc): one in the carriage house (where my team and I will be), one in the main house, and one on the lawn. It’s a chance to see the work of some of the best wedding vendors in Raleigh, and I’m honored to be included. Among many other vendors, I’m ecstatic to be working with Bea Morad, Ivy & Linen Design, Rocky Top Catering, Danielle James Photo, Party Reflections, Greenhouse Picker Sisters, Sugar Euphoria, Bunn DJ.
