I am so excited to be sharing Dani & Bradley’s 2020 intimate wedding with you (albeit a bit delayed)! Dani & Bradley were married almost one year ago, on October 30, 2020, surrounded by eleven of their loved ones – their immediate families and best friends. And in mere days, we will be celebrating these two all over again with, thankfully, a much larger guest count and an epic celebration with all of their families and friends! I think we are all unbelievably excited that their second wedding is so soon and that they will get to celebrate their love and their marriage all together.
It was the biggest joy to celebrate Dani and Bradley at their intimate wedding this past October, and their wedding still is crystal clear in my memories as one of those days overflowing with a certain magic! With a guest count of just 13, it was such an intimate, gorgeous, joyful, and love-filled day as Dani and Bradley celebrated their new marriage in the company of their nearest and dearest. While it wasn’t their original wedding plan, I believe it was still such an incredible, magical, and celebratory (first!) wedding day for these two and a very sweet start to their marriage. I know I had many of those “pinch me” moments repeatedly throughout their wedding day, along with my assistants and other vendors, and the love, beauty, and happiness of this wedding day was so palpable. It really, really was.
And goodness, this intimate wedding day was truly spectacular. I’ll let you see for yourself with stunning film images from Jordan Maunder Photography…
Dani & Bradley’s intimate celebration included their very beautiful and very meaningful ceremony on the lawn of the Merrimon Wynne (where they’ll renew their vows next week!) followed by cocktail hour on the lawn and then a delicious, magical dinner al fresco with their family seated at one long, stunning dinner table. Their intimate wedding design (very similar to what we have planned for this year!) was gorgeous: English rose and desert sunset hues, rich velvet textures and organic greenery, lush flowers in an abundance, a long table with their immediate families and best friends, romantic candlelight and market lights overhead, an exceptionally delicious and innovative menu filled with their favorite foods, a petite wedding cake adorned with fresh flowers, and the most intimate, personalized, sweet ceremony. There were so many gorgeous and thoughtful details, as you can see from all of these photos! We all put so much heart and thought into the overall design and feeling of the day that was brought to life through the smallest of meaningful details to really surprise and delight their guests. Though it’s not what any of us ever imagined when we started planning in 2019, it was an incredibly joyful, meaningful, and truly memorable first wedding day for them as Dani and Bradley officially were married!
From quiet, precious moments getting ready between Dani and her mother to Dani & her dad’s first look on the grand staircase… to Bradley getting ready with his brother and parents… to their adorable ring bearer… to exchanging their vows to one another during the most moving, touching ceremony… to the utterly perfect fall weather… to the colorful flower columns (a surprise!) that served as the backdrop for their ceremony and then their wedding cake… to the personalized cheese & charcuterie boards handcrafted by the father of the groom with their wedding crest branded onto them… to the custom, bespoke paper details incorporated throughout the day… to their romantic first dance on the lawn… to the delicious three course meal with wine service… to the thoughtful surprises and personalized touches abounding… to all of the stunning velvet details… to the sheer magic of their celebration under the market lights and the stars overhead… it was all so, so beautiful and unforgettable.
Dani and Bradley are just one of those dream couples to work with in every way, and I have absolutely loved getting to know them (and their families!) throughout the wedding planning process. I couldn’t ask for a sweeter, more trusting couple! It’s hard to put into words just how special Dani, Bradley, and their families are and how utterly thrilled I am for them. I have absolutely loved getting to know these two as a couple more and more throughout the wedding planning process over the last two years. They clearly bring out the very best in one another and are the perfect balance for each other. At the end of the day, even with many changes and updates (and plenty of safety precautions, of course!), it was such an extraordinary and beautiful day as Dani and Bradley were married! It’s such a joyful occasion to celebrate with their beloved family and friends and to kick off married life for them in such a lovely, romantic, memorable, and meaningful way.
Endless congratulations to Dani and Bradley on their (first!) wedding day! What a complete dream this magnificent was. You two are officially married, and I can only hope that it was the most marvelous, joyful, stunning, love-filled, meaningful, and fun day as we celebrated your new marriage!! It’s hard to put into words just how much I love these two and their families and friends… and how dearly loved Dani and Bradley clearly are. It was a truly special celebration of love from start to finish with their nearest and dearest, and I am deeply, deeply honored to have been a part of it!
I’m also incredibly thankful for the wonderful (and very flexible and accommodating!) vendor team – the same team for this intimate wedding and also their larger wedding next week. I can’t thank these stellar creative partners and vendors enough for safely bringing this magical intimate wedding day to life, even amidst a pandemic! Can’t wait to do it all over again in a few days!!
