We are so unbelievably thrilled and honored to be featured on Style Me Pretty today for Pretty in the Pines Bridesmaid’s Brunch! Shelby is a dear friend, one of SMP’s bride bloggers, and one of my 2017 brides, and she hosted a Berry Sweet Surprise Bridesmaid Brunch at the Merrimon Wynne in downtown Raleigh. The brunch (and the entire morning!) was simply marvelous, and I absolutely loved planning + styling this brunch for Shelby & her ladies! Hop on over to Style Me Pretty to view all of the stunning images from Megan Kerns Photography and to see all of the amazing details that were a part of this berry sweet design!

This white dress from Rent the Runway was positively perfect for Shelby, and she looked so beautiful. Also, the bridal suite at the Merrimon Wynne never fails to disappoint. Just look at those soft turquoise walls and all the awesome details in there!

This tabletop that I styled was so much fun to design in a favorite color palette of mine, and we used berries and dusty blue + gray tones (with pops of blush!) throughout. Rosanne at Cottage Luxe provided all of the perfect tabletop items, custom gray-toned wood tables, and copper chairs, and Alana from Serendipity Designs hit it out of the park with the most creative and beautiful deconstructed floral centerpieces. It takes a village to pull off an event like this, and we were honored to work with the best of the best!

Gray-toned custom farm tables, copper chairs, organic white dinner plates, dusty blue salad plates, matte gold flatware, gray and blush linen napkins, and blush glassware completed the place settings for our guests (all thanks to the wonderful Rosanne at Cottage Luxe!), topped off with gorgeous custom place cards from Sage Paper Co, hand painted with berries. I alternated tapered candles down the length of the tabletop in shades of gray, dusty blue, and blush, and the bronze candlesticks are a fun pop of whimsy and pizzazz. Alana from Serendipity Designs blew me away, as usual, with her lush runner of greenery and deconstructed floral centerpieces filled with fresh blackberries, blush garden roses, ranunculus, and more!

Every good brunch must begin with mimosas, right?! Alexa from Sage Paper Co. created this swoon-worth mimosa bar signage for above the table, and we had beautiful bottles of chilled rose, fresh fruits, and fresh juices for the girls to create their perfect mimosa! Pink glassware, delicious fruits and juices, champagne, and this sign decked out with florals were favorite details of mine. Cheers!

And can we talk about how Belle’s Catering knocked this brunch out of the park? Brooke and her team prepared and dreamt up the most delicious brunch for Shelby and her ladies, and we couldn’t stop drooling as we styled and photographed the spread! Shelby and I wanted to have some mini brunch foods with a Southern flair. The bridesmaids indulged in mini chicken and waffle skewers, a biscuit bar with all the fixins (nutella, pimiento cheese, honey, local jams, and more!), scones, biscotti, mini quiches, muffins, a yogurt parfait bar, and so much more. I don’t think they could have enjoyed their brunch more!

How adorable are these two sweet flower girls in their matching dresses?! They added the perfect touch to this morning, and their energy and enthusiasm was contagious! Serendipity Designs created fresh flower crowns for the two girls to wear, and they are so precious wearing them!

How fabulous are all of these gifts included in Pretty in the Pines’ “will you be my bridesmaid” surprise gift baskets?! In going with the sweet berry theme, we filled a teal berry basket with all sorts of fun goodies, including a custom note card from Sage Paper Co., wine from Speak Wines, a bridesmaid minimergency kit from Pinch Provisions, an adorable marbled clutch from Paper Source, my favorite candle ever from Capri Blue Candles, gorgeous earrings from Moon and Lola, custom sugar cookies with the wedding date from Oak City Cookies, and topped it all off with Adorn Company ribbon calligraphed with the bridesmaids’ names by Sage Paper Co. What a treat!!

Another beloved Raleigh vendor, The Cupcake Shoppe, treated us with the most delectable dessert bar and cake. From lavender French macarons to vanilla bean cheesecake pops to blackberry mini cupcakes to chocolate raspberry mousse tarts, they were the sweetest treats! The Cupcake Shoppe also made an amazing fresh berry cake, adorned with plenty of blooms by Serendipity Designs, and it tasted just as good as it looked!

Alexa from Sage Paper Co. also provided this gorgeous invitation suite to really set the tone for the day. The invitation is graced with hand-painted blueberries and blackberries, and Sage Paper Co. even brush lettered the names of each of the ladies onto Adorn Company silk ribbon! It’s all about those little, personalized, and meaningful details to set an event apart, and we tried to dream up and execute as many marvelous touches as possible to shower Shelby and her bridesmaids with love!

Shelby and her lovely bridesmaids sure are gorgeous (and they coordinated so well)! I loved that Shelby wanted to bring all of her best friends and sisters together to celebrate how important they are in her life and to surprise them during brunch by asking them to be her bridesmaids! The fact that Shelby was surrounded by her nearest and dearest ladies during this brunch makes it even more special. And it makes me even more excited to plan Shelby & TJ’s wedding in Charleston next summer, because I get to see all of these wonderful ladies again!
