Even with all of these styled shoots that I’ve been planning & styling, I’ve been busy working away on all of my 2016 weddings and the wedding coming up the most quickly: on New Year’s Eve! Anna and Matt are getting married on NYE at the amazing Mint Museum in uptown Charlotte (where I’m from!), and I cannot wait for them to tie the knot. I’ve known Anna since high school, and we even went to UNC together (though she is a couple years younger!). I was honored when she asked me to help her (and her mom!) plan their wedding, and it’s been so, so fun. Anna is the ideal bride, and I’ve loved every minute of working on this sure-to-be gorgeous wedding.
Since it’s on New Year’s Eve, we’re going on all out with plenty of champagne/bubbly inspired details and decor. Think lots of gorgeous blush tones, gold, and pops of cream and merlot… yes, please! Anna’s gown is so stunning, and the Mint Museum is the perfect venue to bring this entire vision to life. Their menu is also to-die-for, and I’m eagerly anticipating the cake, too! We have some awesome surprises for the guests, and the Charlotte fireworks, viewed from the balcony, will be the perfect exclamation point on the evening. I’m also doing all of the florals for this wedding, and it’s been so, so fun pulling together the different flowers and overall look – this might be a new favorite of mine!
I can’t wait to see the magic you put together!!
You’re so, so sweet!! Thank you tons! I’m so excited about this one.
There’s something so magical about a New Year’s Eve wedding! Fingers crossed I get to attend one one day! 🙂
I completely agree!! I so wish I could be a guest at this one (it’s going to be so special and fun!), but I can’t wait to bring it to life, too. It definitely makes me consider a NYE for myself one day 🙂
It’s going to be SUCH a perfect night, my friend! Praying for you and hoping your day so far is going off without a hitch. With you in charge I bet that’s exactly how it’s all unfolding! Happy 2016 xoxoxo
You are the sweetest, Rhi!! Thank you so much for your encouragement. Amanda Allsbrook (from MTH!) helped me out last night, and we were likely singing your praises the same moment you commented here. We adore you!! xoxox
