It’s Christmastime in the city

This post may be picture overload, but it’s been so fun checking things off my Christmas in DC to-do list! Here are some of my favorite outings and sightings from around the city over the last 2.5 weeks. It’s sure been a fun, nonstop month filled with Christmas cheer!

Christmas decorations in Dupont

Christmas carolers & hot toddies at the infamous Willard Hotel

happy hour + local Christmas shopping at the Chinatown Holiday Market

the giant reindeer at City Center DC

a Crockpotluck dinner party

Christmas at Union Station

a tour and tasting at the Dumbarton House in Georgetown

DAR Christmas Open House + Founding Farmers dinner

birthday drinks at a new restaurant

volunteering at my church’s Christmas clothing shop extravaganza, serving over 400 families

bottomless birthday brunch

exploring the decked out US Botanic Gardens

visiting the (very scrawny) Capitol Christmas tree & the (scaffolded) Capitol

Christmas decor downtown

annual girl’s night out at the Ritz in Georgetown

hosting a Tacky Christmas Sweater party

…and plenty of DC Christmas trees!
