I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. I love love. It’s a significant part of why I am so smitten with weddings – and with marriage! It makes my heart so happy that my darling sister, Bridgette, and her hubby, Rob, are celebrating their one year anniversary this weekend!
June 15th of last year was, in all honesty, one of the very best and most memorable days of my life… and I wasn’t even the bride! But my sister is my very best friend in the world, and watching her get married to the man of her dreams was utter perfection. I love reminiscing and thinking back to their wedding weekend, as it’s nothing but sheer joy brimming over with love.
I, too, was surrounded my all of my family and many of my closest friends, and it was incredible watching Bridgette and Rob say their vows to one another and getting to celebrate their love with them. Their entire wedding weekend was filled with so many special, meaningful, beautiful moments, and I look back at it with so much love and happiness. I’ll forever cherish those memories, along with the photos and their wedding video!
Lots of changes have occurred in the last year, but I know Bridgette and Rob are absolutely meant to be! It’s inspiring to watch their love continue to grow, to see them laugh and find joy in their lives, to see them build their lives together, and to even live in the same state as them. All around, these two are a model for what love should be like and look like. They’re not perfect, but it’s incredibly clear that they are perfect for one another.
