Dreaming of Greece

I don’t know about you, but I have been nonstop cold for way too many weeks now. I believe this January has been the coldest month of the last century, which is a little surreal – but totally believable, too! The South just got plenty of snow and ice (well, for the South), and DC has been receiving snow after snow, as well as subzero windchills for way too long. I have Southern blood, and I have long been dreaming of Spring and summer and warmth! The first place I turned to when thinking of warm weather perfection was Greece – of course!

Greece (and the island of Santorini, to be exact) is my very favorite place in the world – for so many reasons! In college, I studied abroad in Greece (and was able to travel a bit before the program to Santorini and after the program to Italy!), and Greece stole my heart. I always say that Santorini is my version of heaven, and I don’t think a day has gone by since visiting that I haven’t dreamt of it and awaited a return trip. There is nothing that I didn’t LOVE about my trip to Greece, and every moment of there was absolute perfection. And I have been dreaming (for almost five years – yikes!) of a return trip. I can’t stop looking at pictures of Greece, especially as I’m craving a warm weather & sunshine-filled vacation somewhere fabulous!

I think this collage I created is going to become my desktop in just one moment… Grecian bliss!

It really is that beautiful and picturesque!

Is anyone else craving Springtime and the warm, sunny days to come? Do you have any wanderlust right now? Where would you go, right now, if you could go anywhere? I’d love to hear!

  1. wonderful fotos. I really feel the same about Greece, but we always go to Kefalonia, which is beautiful, too. Take a look into my blog, if you want.
