Beach Bachelorette Weekend

I had a countdown going for months for my incredible sister/best friend’s Memorial Day bachelorette beach weekend, and I know Bridgette did, too!! It was a much-anticipated reunion event over a long weekend at the beach, and it was absolutely amazing and so very fun! You can check out a recap from Bridgette’s perspective here! It was so fun spending the weekend with all of her fabulous friends (most of whom I’ve known for years and years), celebrating her upcoming wedding and marriage.

Bridgette’s absolutely wonderful friends before our big night out!

photobooth fun with my sister!

I could get used to this view – take me back!

yeah she is!

We all made it down to Emerald Isle Beach, North Carolina on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, ready for a weekend of fun! Most of the girls are Bridgette’s best friends from college, some are friends from middle/high school, and one is her new sister-in-law. It was so fun to see everyone again!

I had SO much for planning and scheming for months (really, mooonths!) about all of the little details and events for Bridgette’s bachelorette weekend! It’s not every day your sister gets married, so I knew we had to celebrate Bridgette big time. Plus, planning events like this is on of those things that fires me up!

We started out Saturday morning with a mimosa bar, complete with plenty of champagne & a variety of fruit juices (orange, cranberry, and an amazing mango puree). We also had Breakfast Skewers! I was so excited about these, as B loves waffles and fresh fruit. I dyed the wooden skewers pink & attached pink cardstock hearts to the top (clearly pink, gold, and navy were the colors of the weekend!). I skewered mini waffles, strawberries, and blackberries to complete our breakfast treat.

One of the favors for the girls (and so practical for our mimosa bar!) were these glitter monogrammed wine glasses I made. Each girl’s initial was glittered in the opposing color, and I just love these!

After a full day on the beach, we cleaned up and got ready for the Lingerie Shower part of the weekend!

Lots of fun gifts & games, along with a table filled with drinks + food! I made oreo cake balls with pink & gold glitter sprinkles, a ‘better than sex’ cake, strawberry champagne jello shots, and we had an assortment of appetizers, cheeses and crackers, and, of course, chips and salsa. Yum!

The quintessential toilet paper-wedding dress game! I organized and planned about eight different games for the shower, and we had so much fun laughing and celebrating Bridgette’s upcoming wedding!

On stage at the awesome beach bar that night! What a beautiful bride-to-be!!

All the girls after a crazy fun night of dancing!

Breakfast the next morning: diamond ring doughnuts, along with a granola and yogurt bar with fresh fruit!

too cute.

props for the photobooth – such a fun idea!

the beautiful Beaufort, NC

We all had such an incredible time in Emerald Isle + Beaufort celebrating Bridgette. I loved every second of planning and celebrating Bridgette’s upcoming wedding and marriage to Rob, and she is the best sister any girl could ever imagine. I’m so blessed by her, and I hope she felt as loved as she is – by all of us! – as we celebrated!! Bridgette has an incredible group of friends, and I love them dearly, too!

Check out my Bachelorette Party Pinterest board here! It was a secret board for about a year, while I pinned pink and gold glitter things to my heart’s content. Now I hope it’s a fun resource for you if you have a bachelorette party to plan! There are decor, food, drink, and game inspirations for a fabulous bachelorette soiree.
